Appointment of VP Global Sales
Instem plc (AIM: INS.L), a leading provider of IT applications to the global early development healthcare market, announces that it has appointed Edward Lorenti as its new Vice President of Global Sales.
Based in the US, Mr Lorenti has responsibility for global sales, bringing together the current teams of sales professionals for each business unit and the strong existing account relationships. His focus will be on growing market share in existing segments and opening up new areas with the Company’s broadening product set. The new position will strengthen Instem’s ability to address continued global demand for integrated solutions, as the Company continues its organic and acquisitive expansion within the early development market.
Mr Lorenti has over 24 years’ sales and business development experience within organisations providing enterprise software products and solutions in the life sciences industry. His extensive sales and sales management experience has been demonstrated with both mature and emerging products introduced both organically and through acquisitions.
Mr. Lorenti joins Instem from the technology solutions division of Accenture, which he joined in 2012 through its acquisition of Octagon Research Solutions where he was responsible for the enterprise content management and submission software platform serving pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients worldwide.
